Job Description

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the departments overall objectives by applying appropriate accounting principles to transactions. Responsibilities will include reconciling and analyzing accounts maintaining accurate records and providing support to the business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
  • Record cash transfers deposits and wires
  • Support Purchasing Inventory Management & Logistics
  • Perform bank reconciliations for checking accounts
  • Review and analyze employee expense reports
  • Reconcile NetSuite and Avalara for sales/use tax
  • Participate in accounting close and reporting processes
  • Assist with annual audit processes and maintain documentation
  • Crosstrain for other positions within the department as needed

Qualifications

  • College degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with expense accrual and account reconciliation
  • Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
