Job Description
Join one of the nation's leading healthcare systems as an Epic Security Analyst and provide intermediate level support to health professionals by facilitating assessment of current practice and translation of end user needs into the optimal configuration of Security applications!As an Epic Security Analyst, you will use your expertise to support to health professionals by following protocols for granting and revoking appropriate end user access for supported applications. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid contract position working with client's anywhere within the United States, while taking on new challenges. Must be able to travel.
The ideal candidate has experience in the following areas: - Working with members of the Users and Security Workgroup, the Provider (SER) Workgroup, Epic Project Teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and end-users to tailor the system to fit the organizations' needs, fulfilling Epic security requests, monitoring of client activity and analyzing and troubleshooting security issues.
- Participating in the development of workflows, system configuration, change documentation, optimization and support related to Epic security and Schedulable Epic Resources, while working with application teams to deploy functionality changes, new modules or departments, update security classes, modify provider records, conduct user analysis, and implement security enhancement
- Collaborating with all levels of hospital leadership, clinicians, physicians, and ancillary department staff is essential for this position
Hours: 40 hours a week-M-F 8 AM - 5 PM
Duration: 3-6 months
Pay: $80+/hour
Location: Nationwide - hybrid role
