Job Description

Position Overview:

Amplytics is seeking a Financial Analyst/Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will leverage your analytical expertise and technical skills to provide valuable financial insights, develop sophisticated financial models, and create dynamic data visualizations that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct complex financial analyses to support strategic decision-making
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts
  • Create insightful financial reports and presentations for various stakeholders
  • Identify trends and patterns in financial data to provide actionable recommendations

Data Analytics & Visualization

  • Design and implement Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Develop advanced Excel models and automation solutions
  • Create custom Power Apps solutions to streamline financial processes
  • Maintain and optimize existing reporting systems

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Present financial analyses and recommendations to various levels of management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Provide training and support for financial tools and dashboards

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
  • Implement best practices in financial analysis and reporting
  • Document and standardize financial processes
  • Mentor junior team members on financial analysis techniques

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or related role
  • Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and VBA
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • Professional certifications (CFA, FRM, or similar)
  • Advanced Power BI development experience
  • Power Apps development skills
  • Experience in management consulting or client-facing roles
