Insight Global is searching for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSW) to support one of our healthcare clients in the Southeast in their oncology division.
This social worker will have two main responsibilities, the first is that of the daily role of the Oncology Social Worker. This will include but is not limited to partnering with clinicians, patients, and families to provide support in a variety of ways to patients with oncology diagnosis throughout the continuum of their care. This will involve working with patients through their struggles of a battle with cancer, including financially, emotionally, psychosocially, as well as during their survivorship after their treatment is completed. You will be completing psychoassessments on patients, providing assessment results and care plans to the patient and their families and then providing support in the best ways necessary for each patient's individual situation.
The 2nd main responsibility for this position will be pioneering what Oncology Social Work will look like for our client's oncology department as a whole. This person will be the only OSW on staff at the beginning and will help to grow this department as time goes on. This will include putting in the leg work to create support groups, planning, organizing, and evaluating the work needed to pioneer this program. This opportunity will offer a unique change to build this social work program from the ground up in partnership with clinical leadership and other stakeholders.

Must Haves:
-Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
-At least 2 years of social work experience required
-Licensed Social Worker in the State of SC
Preferred:
-Social Work Experience in a Healthcare Setting
-Any Oncology Social Work Experience
Compensation:
$25.00/hr to $32.00/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
