Restaurant Support Specialist Job Description

We are searching for a driven individual who can help us streamline our daily operations to

ensure efficiency and adherence to cost controls across multiple locations. The Restaurant Support Specialist should be

comfortable communicating with individuals throughout the company, able to solve problems,

improvise as needed, and have the ability to estimate and manage time for a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate

is a natural Coordinator who has a strong sense of big-picture objectives and a sharp eye for detail. This position is

at our Corporate Office. Rate of pay offered is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience .

Restaurant Support Specialist Responsibilities:

• Maintain pricing and data flow from multiple locations between our Point Of Sale (POS), and accounting software.
• Develop and implement Company-wide quality control measures.
• Recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations.
• Maintain communication with Operation’s Manager, Restaurant Management Teams, Staff Members and Vendors to ensure
• adherence to protocols across key touch points.
• Oversee Inventory Management Practices and improve them when necessary.
• Ensure that Operation’s are in legal compliance with local and national regulations.
• Training Employees to ensure they adhere to our standard operating procedures.
• A key responsibility is to maintain all menu items/prices, daily featured items, and alcohol items in our restaurant
• database. This includes, but is not limited to all updates, modifications and deletions.

Restaurant Support Specialist Required skills and qualifications;

• Proven organizational skills, including time management.
• Project Management experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Familiarity with Restaurant Management.
• Two or more years of experience in an Operational or similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other productivity applications and platforms.
• Working knowledge of a Point Of Sale (POS) System.
• Understanding of basic Accounting Journal Entry Principles.

To date Cattle Baron restaurants can be found in Portales, Hobbs, Roswell, Ruidoso and Las Cruces New Mexico; and in El Paso, Texas. Since Jeff’s passing in 2010, his family continues the operations of the company proudly maintaining Jeff’s legacy and the traditions of Cattle Baron and our two other concepts Farley's Food Fun & Pub and Pasta Cafe Italian Bistro.
